Overview:
Here we have it folks, the worst faction in Star Wars Attacktix. Only one figure merits the "Top Figures" spot, and even that's really pushing it. This team was mildly useful in Series 1, but now it just has too much going against it. The additions in Series 2 (Clone Commander and Neimoidian Captain) were of very little help. In the end you can just forget about this group of figures.

Strikers:
NONE. A Nute Gunray Striker (see: Tion Medon) would've been a little something. If he had been a 20 point figure, he would have teamed nicely with the Neimodian Guards and Captain.

Launchers:
As a Launcher, I'm not impressed with Palpatine. He's a 40 point Force Blaster (as they all are) who can't move his arms. Some folks like that fact, saying it makes him easier to aim. I think it limits his usefulness, as this keeps him from being able to "lob" his Force Blast very far.

The Clone Commander and Neimoidian Captain both bring some power to the table, but their Special Powers would lead me to choose a different 30 point Launcher instead.

Back in the day when we only had Series 1, some people were big fans of the Neimoidian Guard. My problem with them is that they are teamed up with Nute Gunray, and in order to make best use of all their Special Powers, you have to have at least 70 points tied up in small bullet Launchers.

Special Powers:
Palpatine is a beneficiary of the Recover power, but it's not very high (38%) and requires a Sith be in play. It would probably have been better for this figure to just be on the Sith team. The Clone Commander has a low chance (23%) to Rally two Troopers back into play, but other than the Destroyer Droid there aren't any powerful Troopers. And since the Gold Nute Gunray has a 38% chance to Rally two Droid Army figures, the Clone Commander really isn't useful there on that team, either. The Neimoidian Captain has a 31% chance of Attackback for one of your Separatists, but chances are you won't be fielding many of them anyway.

Effects:
This team has no Effects figures of its own, and really wouldn't benefit much from other Effects figures. The Medic Droid could join this team, but there really aren't any figures here worth bringing back!

Other Figures:
Like the Republic, this team does not really benefit from other figures. Other than Palpatine, none of these figures are a great help to any other faction, and even Palpatine is questionable.

Suggested Teams:
Take these figures and put them on display. They aren't worth playing with!
