TEAM BUILDING & PRE-GAME

Q: How many figures can I have in Backup?
A: Your Backups can have up to half the number of points as used in your starting team. So a 100 point team, can have up to 50 points in Backup. [HASBRO]

Q: Can I start my figures up already in formation?
A: Hasbro's rules require a straight line, two Tix from the end of the table or play area.

Q: Can I play multiples of the same named characters?
A: Yes, you can play with one, three, five Vader #16s. There is no limit to this in play. However, you may only have one Tournament/Trophy Figure per team. [HASBRO]

MOVING

Q: Can I move my figure a bit, turn its base around, then keep moving it in the same direction? Or move it in a curve? Or have it do a little dance, as long as I've got enough Tix to do the dance?
A: You can meander along, or move forward a few ticks-turn in a 900 degree rotation if you want to and keep moving. It's all about strategic placement. [HASBRO]

Q: Can I swivel/rotate my figure's base before an Attack?
A: Yes, you can rotate before you attack as long as the base does not gain or lose position, and you do not touch any other figures while moving. [HASBRO]

Q: Must you move all of your figures before you start attacking?
A. Yes, it is a strict Move phase then Attack phase. However, you do not NEED to move every figure, but it you do intend to move them it must be done before your first Attack. The Gunship's rules are the only exception. [HASBRO]

Q: Can I move my figures in any direction I want? Or do I have to move them in the same direction once I start moving them?
A: You can move figures in any direction you want at any point during each figure's movement. [HASBRO] For example, you could move a 12-Tix figure forward 2 Tix, turn it around 180 degrees and move it in the same direction 2 Tix, turn it around 90 degrees and move it in a perpendicular line for 6 Tix, then turn it around 540 degrees and move it a final 2 Tix, if you so desire.

Q: Do I have to move in a straight line?
A: No, you do not have to move in a straight line. You can turn as you move, or pivot around at a certain part during your move. Attacktix is all about strategic placement. [HASBRO]

ATTACKTING

Q: When do you reload missiles?
A: You reload your missiles at the START of you next turn. [HASBRO]

Q: Can I use throw my own characters at others?
A: Sure, Hasbro says that you are allowed to attack your own team. Since this is the case, you may attempt to use Wookiees to hurl figures into your opponent.

SPECIAL POWERS

Q: When exactly does a Special Power activate?
A: Special Powers activate immediately, no matter what the current phase is. Special Powers can also be nested, so if on Attack 1: Figure A kills and activates Figure B's power, Figure B can attack Figure C. If Figure C is also active, it too, may attack. Then the original player make make its second attack (Attack 2).

Q: If I want to use an Attackback or Shootback power with a figure who has already shot its missile, can I reload its launcher to use that power?
A: Yes, you may reload a figure's empty launcher to use an Attackback or Shootback power; the figure's launcher will still be empty if it gets attacked again, and this special power overrides the general "reload at the beginning of your turn" rule. [HASBRO]

Q: Do I need to grind my figure before I use my Recover Special Ability?
A: Yes, you must regrind your figure before he comes back into play. [HASBRO]

Q: If I kill multiple figures in one shot or strike, who decides the order of special power activation?
A: The person whose figures were knocked over decides the order of special power activation. [HASBRO]

DEFEATING

Q: Must you always knock down both targets for a valid kill of a Mega figure?
A: Hasbro plays any kill is a legal kill. [HASBRO]

Q: If a figure is half on/half off the table, or the "out of bounds", is he dead?
A: Officially, If he can still roll a Tix he is alive. If any part of the base is lifted up or the wheel is hanging over the edge, he is defeated. Leaners are dead as they can not roll. But a good rule of thumb is that if his wheel is still fully functional he can still fight the good fight. [HASBRO]

Q:On the first turn, a player with a launcher figure attacks and knocks an opposing figure (that has not had a chance to move) back to where part of the base touches or goes over the back out-of-bounds line. The figure does not fall over. Is that figure considered defeated?
A: As long as the figure is not knocked over, it is not defeated. On the next turn make sure to direct the figure back into the game arena. [HASBRO]

FIGURES & ACCESSORIES

Q: What are the rules for the Battle Case?
A: Battle Case rules

Q: Why do some Attactix figures have a silver/chrome base?
A: Some figures will have a silver or chrome base instead of a black base. These figures are considered to be "ultra rare". They are identical in all other ways to their black base counterparts. [HASBRO]

Q: Will I be able to buy Series 1 Attacktix after Series 2 is released?
A: No, Series 1 will be retired with the release of Series 2. You may see some repainted figures, or variations of old

TOURNAMENTS

Q: What if my figure breaks during Tournament play?
A: You are allowed five minutes during Tournament play to fix your figure. Crazy glue and epoxy will be allowed. [HASBRO]

Q: Are there any Tournament Rules yet?
A: Yes, Hasbro has released official rules. You can see the Official Rules here.

STAR WARS ATTACKTIX SPECIFIC RULES

Q: Effect Luke and Han as Stormtroopers. (3-28 & 3-29) Are these the SAME effect, or different? Can I get TWO free attacks in one turn if I have both in Play.
A: [Han as Stormtrooper and Luke as Stormtrooper] are the same effect so you can only use one of them, not both in the same turn, you can choose which one but only one. [HASBRO]

Q: Is "Han Solo" different than "Han as Stormtrooper" when it comes to Special Powers. i.e."Stand up Chewbacca if you have Han Solo in play" Does that work with "Han Solo as Stormtrooper", as well.
A: Yes, as long as the figure reads Han Solo anywhere in the title of the figure you may recruit that figure to play. You can use all your Hans as they all have his full name on his base. [HASBRO]

Q: Can the Emperor (1-24) "UN-possess" a figure at will?
A: No, you can not unpossess/repossess anyone unless the Emperor is shot off the target and manages to still stand. This is the only exception. [HASBRO]

Q: Can I attack/possess my own team?
A: Yes, you can attack/possess and defeat your own teammates. [HASBRO]

Q: Can I glue my Yoda's (1-30) other hand on to his lightsaber?
A: Yes, you may glue Yoda's other hand to the lightsaber. Add glue neatly and carefully and he will still be Tournament legal. [HASBRO]

Q: My new Grievous Bodyguard (1-13) feels stiffer than my older one, why is this?
A: Hasbro has revised two figures from Series 1: Grievous Bodyguard and Yoda. The Bodyguard was made with a stronger grade of plastic, and Yoda now comes with his right hand glued to his lightsaber.

Q: If my Emperor (1-24) falls off while Possessing is he still alive?
A: If the emperor is possessing a figure and only the Emperor figure is knocked over, the Emperor dies and the figure reverts back to it's former controller. If the Emperor lands on his base, but his possessed figure falls, the Emperor would live. If both are attacked and both land on bases they would live. [HASBRO]

Q: How does Shooter Anakin's (1-26) Special Power work?
A: If the window is White Anakin's team Recruits a Trooper. If it is Black, his opponent gets a Captain.

Q: What are the rules for the Emperor/Possession (1-24)?
A: If any part od the Emperor comes in contact with another figure, he may Possess that figure. Using the grips, clamp on to the opponent and allow NO part of the Emperor or his base to touch the ground. If you succeed you are now Possessing that figure, it is yours to do what you wish. If he is defeated, the Emperor's team may use the Special Power (if activated).

Q: How can I attack with my AT-RT?
A: The AT-RT can attack 4 different times (1 for each missile) against one or multiple opponents. The head can be moved between each shot. [HASBRO]

Q: How can I attack with my Republic Gunship?
A: The Gunship can attack in any of the following ways:

1) Transport one of your own figures to a new location.
2) Shoot the Gunship's missile (with the Gunship either on the base or "flying" off it)
3) 1), then 2).
4) 2), then 1).

Any of these count as only one attack. [HASBRO]
